There is a rogue group of copyright infringers who have stolen a much earlier version of my data - from at least 10 years ago - and have the affrontery to publish that, along with using my name, on their poorly researched website. They claim this is the 'original' Kracker Archive, a ridiculous claim since my Archive has been in a state of continuous development for over 30 years and nobody - NOBODY - has the original. They have no right to use my name or my data and readers who come across this nonsense should do nothing to encourage theft of this nature. I am outraged by this blatant theft and misrepresentation of my lifetime's work. In addition, his starboard engine was also damaged by another attacking Hurricane of RAF No.56 Sq, piloted by P/O M.H.Constable-Maxwell. Injured 31 October, 1942 in Werk # 0275 in a crash landing near Cauverville due to major technical problems. One known victory, a Spitfire on 5 June, 1942. Another, a Spitfire on 19 August, 1942. A 3rd, a B-17 15 km north of Pleubian on 16 February, 1943. Another B-17 6 km west of St. Valery on 28 March, 1943. A 3rd B-17 8 km west of Pointe de la Corbiere on 29 May, 1943. A 6th victory, a B-17 (HSS) on 4 July, 1943.

MIA 26/27 December, 1944 in the Verviers Be. area; Florian and his crew were shot down during a night mission against enemy columns in the Münster-Handorf area. They were hit by flak setting the left engine on fire. Then a P-61 of U.S. 422 NF Sq., piloted by Capt T. Spelis, attacked and set the fuselage on fire. Reppe and Kläser bailed successfully, and were captured at Stavelot. Kläser was released from an English POW camp in 1948. No word on Florian and Neuenhaus, presumed MIA. One known victory, a "4 mot" at Skagerrak Denmark on 2 October, 1943. His crew in NJG-2: Ogerf Werner Neuenhaus, R/O 1; Fw Gerhard Reppe, R/O 2 and Uffz Walter Kläser, Gunner. Boiten, victories may be as high as 3.

A 9th, a LaGG-3 on 7 September, 1944. His 13th, a Lancaster of No.617 Sq. on 12 January, 1945. On 25 March, 1945, he had to ditch into the North Sea north of Bergen Norway, after combat with an RAF P-51, due to engine damage, and was rescued by Norwegians. He referred to this event as the "opening of the 1945 bathing season". Magnus Report. Added: One of a few to down a Recce Spitfire. 297 Gemmer, WernerFw2/JG-301 (1/45) Bf 109G Werk # Unk (lost 1/22/45) Fighter Operational Clasp MIA 22 January, 1945 in aerial combat near Schroda. Added: The VDK says the place of death was Obornik. These two places were on either side of the city of then, Posen, now Poznan, Poland, ans only about 35 miles apart. Fw Gemmer is believed confirmed missing, and commemorated at Poznan-Milostowo, Poland (D.Drury). Added: Version Two: Fw Gemmer and Lt Erich Reinke, were killed in an infantry mission against the Russians while retreating from Schroda. Due to damaged aircraft shortages, they were caught between the lines, and were not able to leave the airfield (C.König). Alternate spelling: Germer.

His "U5 + AM" had an engine shot out by flak over London on 29 September, 1940. He managed to fly back across the channel and return to base; no injuries reported. His "U5 + GM" was shot up by a Hurricane over Harwich on 11 July, 1940, wounding his crew, but he managed to return to base. Remaining crew (WIA): Lt Walter Bornschein, Obs & RK Holder; Ofw Werner Borner, R/O and Fw Friedrich Lohrer, Flt Engr.. About 150 combat missions. Deceased 7 March, 1989, Berlin.
